APPEARANCE (physique)
Azura is a tall and lean specimen, and while wearing her draconic skin, she may possess a thin, midnight-blue tail. With lightly tanned skin dappled with freckles, cyan eyes, sky sigils on her cheeks, and long, silvery-white hair, she is the spitting image of something wild, ethereal, and exotic.

APPEARANCE (clothing)
Azura constantly changes her wardrobe. During summer, she favors tank tops with denim shorts. For fall and spring, blue jeans and colorful t-shirts are her go-to. Once winter comes around, she'll don an overcoat and tall boots. Since her clothes are often destroyed, they never remain consistent.

PERSONALITY (positives)
Azura is a simple creature, but only on the surface. Being withdrawn from most social circles, she appears to be content to sit alone a cup of milk and honey tea, but dig a little deeper, and most people will find a fierce survivor willing to die for a lost cause and a thunderbird that's far from broken.

PERSONALITY (negatives)
Azura is aloof and indifferent on her bad days, preferring the comfort of solitude, which she has learned to love, over the company of people, who she has come to fear. Prior to being stranded, she's never needed to take a sapient life, and never be mistaken that she won't to save her own.

SPECIALTIES (dragon, mana wellspring)
Azura is able to shapeshift into a draconic, harpy-like creature. In addition to this, she can harness mana to heal wounds and command the wind. When emptied, her reserve takes three hours to regenerate, but this process can be sped up by resting in nature-rich environments.

EXPERTISES (kickboxing, sky navigation)
Azura knows many versatile survival skills both tutored and self-taught, and fights with a combat style reminiscent of kickboxing. By observing the sky, she can determine which way is which and always knows where she is and what direction she's going in, as well as the time of day.

ACCESSORIES (bow & arrow, runestones)
Azura is tattooed with a bow and arrow that allows items to be stored in and summoned from hammerspace. A crossbody linen pack comes with various mundane items, with the main exceptions being a herbal remedy kit and carved runestones that aid in her dreamwalking endeavors.

WEAKNESSES (cold iron, dreamcatchers)
Azura is vulnerable against cold iron, which disrupts her mana flow, while weapons made of cold iron pierces dragon hide. On the more mystical side of things, dreamcatchers can have various negative effects, from repelling ill intent to binding her current form and dimension.

BACKGROUND (child / teen)
Azura'ellys was born into the Draela'ei, a primitive tribe of skin-changing hybrids descended from dragon and human lineage. Isolated on the Runestone Isles on Aurophia, no one knew they even existed. A magic maelstrom surrounded the ring of islands on which they resided, never letting anyone enter or leave, save for the unlucky few who fell through the cracks.
BACKGROUND (adolescent)
Azura had been taught the basics of survival, crafting, and most importantly, sailing, at an early age. The first time she voyaged and felt the freedom beneath a sail was when she found her love of travel, which eventually led her to become an apprentice navigator. After undertaking a dangerous rite of passage, however, she drowned in a storm at sea on the journey back.
BACKGROUND (young adult)
Azura became a dreamwalker in death, where she awoke in another dimension on an island not unlike her own, but occupied by hostile castaways and a malignant force she came to know as the Order of the Ouroboros. Captured by the survivors, many terrible things happened throughout this period, and upon escaping, she waged a war against the Order.
BACKGROUND (recent times)
Azura finally returned home, only to find that by some cosmic catastrophe, her civilization had vanished and the people scattered amongst the stars. Seeking to reunite the Draela'ei and destroy the Ouroboros, she dreamwalked through the dimensions before landing in Los Lunares on Earth-9X, where she continued to fight and linger on the fringes of humankind.

SAMPLE POST UNOEvery night, she struggled. Most people dreamt of nonsense when they fell asleep. Some had nightmares. Others thrived. Azura, however, could never seem to stop fighting.Lightning shot through the cold, black sky like a scream in the dark, and where there was lightning, thunder sang not too far behind. Mangled cacti reached for the storming heavens, tempted by the empty promise of a rain that would never come. Be it of a dream or not, a dry storm in the desert was no place for a girl from an island.Somewhere in the near distance, the snarling of a large animal – mammalian, by the sounds of it – echoed between the winding canyon before being abruptly silenced with a sickening crack. That was okay, or so she thought.Azura hunted bigger game. The circumstances that led her to this dreamwalk didn’t so much matter as the damage caused by the creature that lurked within its space. Why it took an interest in stealing babies straight from the crib, she did not know – only that it needed to go away for good.Something akin to bug-like warbling grew louder to where the huntress stood in wait, carried on the faint winds of change along with the floating, ethereal specks that permeated the lower plane. With her bow drawn and back against the sandy cliff, barely did the archer breathe as she swiveled around the corner and took her aim, only to realize just how close the nightmarish thing was to her bluff.Barely did Azura even get the chance to process its features before it swung a webbed, talon-tipped hand at her face. The surprise alone was enough to scare even the hardiest of hunters, but to an apprentice dreamwalker, the sudden jolt brought her back to the waking world.A gasp intermingled with a slight yelp announced her awakening, the force of which would've likely sent her hurtling forward if it weren’t for the good graces of the seatbelt she'd been wearing. Immediately after reorienting her senses, she gingerly reached a hand to her cheek to find that the wound, two light slash marks, had transferred over through the dream.A crude word in an even more crude language escaped her lips. Granted, it wasn’t nearly as bad as it could’ve been; the initial shock surprised her more than anything, and for a brief moment, Azura considered herself lucky that she had awoken in the seat of a co-pilot.Remembering why she was here of all places came easier than trying to swallow the fact that some animal got the jump on her. Capable of flying faster and higher than any dragon-people's wings, the aircraft carried her and the coming aid in pursuit of someone who really shouldn’t have been as elusive as he was temperamental – Harrison Graves – and temperamental he was, having left shortly after a fallout between him and his ex-brother-in-law.More clouded yet happened to be the means through which these people managed to pin down the missing man, and their reasons for doing so. After one of their own was kind enough to explain it to her as if she were but five-years-old, clarity shone through the cracks in her brain like light on a stormy day. Apparently, he owed them something.Of course Graves owed them something. When did he not owe anyone anything? Why, he still owed her an entire half of a tuna salad hoagie as well as permanent safe passage to and from the nearby planes through the use of establishing an illicit arcane circle, but that was a little besides the point.Red droplets began to dribble from her cheek and onto her lap. By instinct, Azura raised her hand, but paused; something as light as this wasn’t worth spending her healing energy on. “Captain?” she began. “It would be fair to assume this aircraft has first-aid, no?”
